AUTISM FAMILY RESOURCE VIDEOS

Welcome families and supporters in the Autism community! Learning is an essential line of work here at the Center. We are offering incredible resources designed especially for our community members with special needs.

In collaboration with specialist Stacy Badon of Everything Autism-Beyond the Label, CCCADI will be providing families with children on the Autism Spectrum six educational resource videos. These video modules are intended to assist parents and caregivers by providing specific strategies and supplements for implementation in a home-based setting, during this time and beyond.

We hope that families will be provided solutions from these strategies, and believe these video resources will also help families gain a better understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as the Sensory Processing challenges that impact ASD.

These bi-weekly resources are available today, with new videos appearing through the rest of the 2019-2020 school year. Topics will include the following:

  • How to Implement Routines

  • Sensory Strategies for Home

  • Using Visual Supports

  • Sibling Strategies

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Creating sensory tools from common items at home
